A check-out inspection runs to a written report, photographed line by line. The clerk opens the oven before anything else, because door glass holds carbonised grease in layers that a quick wipe cannot shift. Cupboards are checked on the top edges and the inner door rims, light fittings and reachable vents for dust, doors and frames for hand marks. Areas behind and under white goods are looked at wherever they move.
The clean follows the same logic. Appliances are done inside and out; cupboards are emptied and wiped including the tops; kitchens get focused degreasing and the extractor filter is refreshed rather than rinsed. For carpets and upholstery, hot water extraction lifts soil and old odour where the fibre holds it. Hard floors are washed and rinsed pH-neutral, so no tacky film is left to pull in fresh dust before the inspection.
Before the team leaves, coverage is reviewed room by room against the same list the clerk will use. The room-by-room detail is published in full in the end of tenancy cleaning checklist, so tenants and landlords can see exactly what the price covers before booking.
