We did it! Thanks to all of you who have chosen to trust us with your homes over the past year, we’ve passed the compulsory threshold for VAT registration.
This is exciting news! Thanks to you, we’re now bigger and more reputable than ever (and we’re just getting started). Day after day, we’re doing everything we can to improve our services, attract better talent, and stay the most customer-centric cleaning company in London.
But now that we’re registered for VAT, there are going to be some changes. You may not like some of these changes, and not all of you will stay with us, but we’re committed to staying transparent with our clients nonetheless. Without further ado, here’s what to expect in the near future.

Painful as it is, let’s just rip this band-aid right off. There’s no way around it – we’re going to be paying more taxes so we have to add the VAT on top of our prices. This is not something we want to do but we don’t have much of a choice in the matter.
Alright, onto better news. As a VAT-registered company, we’ll have our very own VAT registration number. If you’re a business client, you’ll be able to enjoy certain benefits, granted your business is also VAT-registered.
We’ll have to make some changes in regards to our payment policy. Most of our clients are awesome people who respect our company and time and pay their invoices on time. Unfortunately, not all are like that. So we’ll have to make some changes to ensure everybody is on the same page.
Paying more for the same service may not seem all that great (and it isn’t), but working with a VAT-registered company does have its benefits. This is especially true for our newest clients.
A cleaning company registered for VAT is nothing if not transparent. There are lots of ways some bigger companies dance around compulsory VAT registration, doing all sorts of shady dealings in the process.
VAT-registered companies, on the other hand, are much more reputable and transparent. You can view paying prices with VAT as an extra charge for working with honest people.
Reaching the VAT threshold is not that easy. It shows commitment to the business and its customers. Commitment to honesty and transparent communication.
A business that reaches compulsory VAT registration is a growing business. It’s a reliable business. You can count on it being here tomorrow, the day after, and the day after that.
Businesses that register for VAT tend to be more reliable (we’re not just saying that). Once you get that VAT number, you’re playing on a different level so you have no choice but to be reliable and provide the best service possible. Here the real business enters the club of the big ones.
A VAT-registered business is more respectable than the alternative. You can’t be sure why the other business hasn’t been registered, yet. Are they too small (that used to be the case with us up until this year)? Are they shady? Are they even a real company? Once you see that VAT number, those questions disappear.
The addition of VAT will affect all customers who are not VAT registered. But we believe it’s for the best. For those of us who have helped us reach this level – thank you. You’re the ones making it worthwhile. And we hope you’ll keep walking beside us on this wonderful journey. You’re in good company.
